Jonah Hill is nice enough to do a little introduction to his next movie 'The Sitter', which is all well and good except for the fact that he looks freakishly skinny. Nobody likes a skinny Jonah Hill! Put the pounds back on or noone will laugh at your movie!. But I disgress, his latest movie revolves around a slacker who babysits three kids and gets them into all sorts of trouble and swears at them. And that might be it. That's all I got from the trailer. Check it out (Oh and turn yout volume down after Hill's intro if you aren't by yourself - you will thank me).
And that's that. Hhhhmmmm. I don't quite know what to make of it. I like Hill, he makes me laugh in anything he is in, but this seems slightly one note - Hill's character swears at children. I hope there is more to it than that because although I laughed at those moments in the trailer it would be unfortunate if that was it as that would become old real fast. As for plot I couldn't decifer anything other than the babysitting goes horribly wrong and Sam Rockwell is likely to be a crazy bad guy. What is promising is 'Pineapple Express' director David Gordon Green is helming and I loved that movie ('Your Highness' not so much), so he might bring more than the swearing at kids gag - hopefully.
'The Sitter' is out on December 9th in the States and late January 2012 for us Brits.
